Regional Sales Manager – Southeastern U.S.

About the Role

As the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our company’s growth in the Southeast in a well-developed region.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Implement regional goals and objectives to ensure overall company sales initiatives are met
  • Manage and grow relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the utilities sector and spearhead product opportunities for the Smart Grid
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans tailored to the utility industry

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) – highly desired
  • 5 years of related experience in sales, with a strong focus on the utilities industry
  • Proven experience working with major utility companies (e.g., Duke Energy, NextEra Energy, Southern Company, and more)
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of achieving sales targets in the utilities sector
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in technical sales environments
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems and utility infrastructure

Design Engineer III – Memphis, TN

The design engineer’s primary responsibility is to manage the design and development of new products for the electric utility market. The design engineer must manage engineering activities related to maintaining existing products, be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures as well as rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks. The design engineer will lead and direct the work of others and have a wide degree of creativity and latitude. This role can lead to managing the engineering team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs new products and makes improvements to existing products
  • Design product parts and assembly concepts
  • Create project drawings for quotation
  • Evaluation of new products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability and ensure project completion.
  • Review and analysis of proposed product changes
  • Development of product performance specifications
  • Manage prototype development

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 7 – 10 years of experience
  • Must have experience with 3D modeling software.

The qualified candidate must be able to design new products and make improvements to existing products, design product part and assembly concepts, create project drawings for quotation, develop product performance specifications, manage prototype development, set up and operate mechanical test equipment, and write test reports for both internal use and publication.

Sr. Design Engineer – Electromechanical
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will lead the design, development, testing, and support of cutting-edge product solutions in the intelligent power grid. This is a newly created role due to our company’s growth, and you will report directly to the CEO. We are looking for a leader who is eager to grow with us and make a substantial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Innovative Design: Develop conceptual and detailed product models.
  • Testing and Validation: Prepare, execute, and document comprehensive test plans.
  • Product Development: Design microprocessor-based control products for power distribution automation.
  • Smart Grid Solutions: Create electronic products with advanced analog and power supply designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform First Article Inspection and part quality approvals.
  • Design: Controller products that include microprocessor-based controls used in power distribution automation, applications, including capacitor controls, source transfer controls, electronics fuses, switchgear controls, as well as patented peer-to-peer feeder restoration systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of Electromechanical products such as Inverters, Drives, Servers, network switches, etc.
  • Experience with circuit board layout on analog and mixed-signal boards.
  • Experience with new production build and modification of electronic products to manufacturing.
  • Practical knowledge in designing assemblies using sheet metal, mounting PCBA’s, cable harnesses, electrical contacts/terminals/receptacles, springs, and fasteners.
  • Experience in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks (Sheetmetal, plastic, cable).
  • Tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, IEC/UL/CSA/NEMA standards, National Electric Code, etc.
